His Holiness Metropolitan Bishop Pafnuty (1863 - 1939)
His Holiness Pafnuty, ( Piotr Fedoseev) had his roots in White Well, he was anointed Bishop of Braila on 21st November 1926, and on 9th July, as Metropolitan Bishop.
While running the chair at White Well, the Metropolitan church received the honorable visit of the King Charles II of Romania.
Metropolitan Bishop Pafnuty died on 26th March 1939, at the age of 76, and was buried at White Well.
